Here is part 2 of my interview with the 2-1 Click. We get into the specifics of the new mixtape, Can't Murda Me on October 31st.

D: Alright let’s get into the new mixtape. How did you guys come up with the title?

A-dot:I think we're one of the hardest rap group out in Texas.I don't think nobody can hang with us as far as a group. Putting down a hook, all of us staying with the same concept, and staying consistent with this rap shit period...you can't hang with us! We are impossible to reach!...Cant Murda ME!

D: What is the release date of the mixtape?

A-dot: October 31st

ACE: Kind of blends in with the "murda"title and halloween...it's a good look.

Lil'Tex: Already man,that's just something we decided to do, it's creative and a good way to market that title.

D: Do you guys have any labels trying to sign you or are you keeping it independent?

ACE: Talk to the boss, A-dot..didn't you pass on a contract? [haha]

A-Dot: Next question...[laughs]No really, there was something in the works with 5.1 entertainment group...Doing mixtapes really dont get the labels interest.Creating a big fan base and having an actual album that sells,thats what they want acoording to them.So we'll see once "READY FOR TESTIN'" drops.

Lil'Tex:Once that happens, it's gonna be a whole 'nother world for us and fam ya dig? It's gonna be big business. The world will eventually see what the click is trying to do with hip-hop music.Record label or not ya dig?

D: Yeah no doubt. So A-Dot, word is ya boy is going to be on the mixtape. Good looking out on the drop.

A-dot: You already know pimp! Trying to get that west coast connection![laughs]It's all good d-nice, my way of showing love back to you pimp.

D: Most def that's the bizness. I appreciate it. What is your guys favorite tracks off the album?

Lil'Tex:[sings]I'm So Hood!![laughs]

All:[laughs]

Ace:"I'm so hood"We did a remake courtesy of DJ khaled.We got T-pain on the original hook and we kind of do our thing you know putting down.

Lil'Tex: It's definitely one of the hardest records on the tape ya dig?

A-dot:Yeah it's a hard record, I like the "I want to Be" record. It's on our myspace page so make sure you promote that D-nice!

D: I am on it. LOL! Nah I will definitely put that on blast on the site. Now will this mixtape have both original and industry beats?

Ace: We'll have both.

Lil'Tex: It dont fucking matter to me,I'm still gonna wreck regardless ya dig?

A-dot:Yeah, absolutely.It's the only way to go as far as production.

D: What about guest appearances and production?

Lil'Tex:We really dont need no appearences. All three of us rap. Jordan and Certified bangerz[holla c.b.!]do the original poduction.As far as industry records...

A-dot: As far as industry records we have the radio single remakes,some hot freestlyes on some classics![ether,ambition az a ridah, adrenaline rush,etc...] We got some drops as far as guest appearences. Smoothvega, my boy D-nice [laughs] Mac-d is on a couple of tracks, freestyles, I mean we recorded the whole album at his studio.

Ace: It's not your average mixtape...It's really a good hip-hop tape.If your a fan of hip-hop,your definitely going to want to cop this project. I mean $5? that's milk money!! But seriously, we wouldn't be talkin the talk if we didn't know this would be poppin'. It's definitely a hot project.

D: Where can people who are interested in picking up the album pick it up at?

Lil'Tex: Shit, we'll be in the hood.Catch us if you can man!

A-dot: We're already paypal verified so anybody across the world can pick it up! But Tex is on point, look for us we'll be where music is at.

D: So what is next for the 2-1 Click after the mixtape drops?

Ace: Ready For Testin'...

Lil'Tex: A-dot is going to release his album, then were going to be signed!![luaghs]

A-dot: This mixtape will still be getting talked about until summer of 08' if not longer.The album will be a HUGE event so for now,we'll just wait and see.

D: You guys have any tour dates or shows coming up?

A-dot: Yeah we got something towards the end of October. The Fort-Worth got next compilation album release party. That's going to be big too. All the big names in funky-town will be there.
