New Jersey rhymespitter H2-O proudly presents the release of his acclaimed mixtape "RESET", which is now available for your listening pleasure.
"'RESET' is a radical concept that challenges everyone to examine their views, perspectives, personal relationships and themselves as a person. These challenges are brought to the forefront by listening to my mixtape which speaks to all of the aforementioned from different approaches," says H2-O.
"RESET", which is spearheaded by extraordinaire songs such as "Who's That", "Don't Compare Me", "Posters", and "Survivor", will turn heads in the music industry as this unsigned rapologist spits his heart and soul on this amazing project.
The official music videos (see links below), all directed by Tom Medvedich, for "Who's That", "Don't Compare Me", "Posters" and the mixtape trailer have already garnered more than 40,000 views on YouTube! The video for "Survivor" is currently in the works.
On "RESET", H2-O shows his rap compadres what real Hip-Hop is all about with outstanding and in-depth lyrics that bring the true essence of Hip-Hop back to the forefront.
"This project represents growth both musically and mentally," says H2-O. "The purpose of the project was to bring to the forefront much of the bullsh*t that is currently in Hip-Hop and to challenge all people including fans, artists, and executives alike to 'RESET' their perspectives on our music".
Once you consider that and add H2-O's passion and personal experiences, there is enough to decide whether you, the listeners, are also ready to "RESET".

ENTERTAINMENT ONE COMPLETES DEAL WITH BLOCK ENTERTAINMENT AND ATLANTIC RECORDS TO RELEASE NEW STUDIO ALBUM BY HIP HOP STAR GORILLA ZOENEW STUDIO ALBUM KING KONG TO BE RELEASED ON OCTOBER 26, 2010
Entertainment One, Block Entertainment and Atlantic Records are set to release the highly-anticipated new album by hip hop superstar Gorilla Zoe. Zoe will release his new studio album, King Kong, on October 26th, 2010.
Alan Grunblatt , President of Entertainment One Music says, “I’m thrilled to be working with Block Entertainment and Atlantic Records. Gorilla Zoe is a great artist and Block is a music visionary. Three labels are better than one!”
Block adds, “"A new era of Block Entertainment is launching through my partnership with eOne and Atlantic . Gorilla Zoe is first up on my team to takeover with his third solo album, King Kong."
Block Entertainment, created and run by Russell “Block” Spencer is a force in southern hip hop. Block was responsible for creating Boyz N Da Hood (Big Gee, Jody Breeze, Big Duke and Young Jeezy). He has also signed, along with Jeezy, Rick Ross and Ciara, and is still involved in their deals. He completed a partnership with music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs in early 2006 for a seminal multi-million-dollar label deal between Bad Boy South and Block Entertainment. Many successful projects have followed suit including Young Joc’s albums New Joc City and Hustlenomics, Boyz N Da Hood’s sophomore LP Back Up in Da Chevy, as well as Gorilla Zoe’s solo albums.
Legendary DJ Greg Street adds, “My lil’ bro Block is about to sign the hottest artist coast to coast & turn eOne/Atlanta into the cash machine of the industry. We've figured out what they can't. Watch this, Block Ent. & We Ridin’ Chevys daily!”
One of the most prolific rappers today, Gorilla Zoe released a mixtape every day for the month of February 2010.
Gorilla Zoe originally replaced Young Jeezy as a member of Boyz N Da Hood, followed by notable collaborations with Yung Joc on "Coffee Shop" and "Bottle Poppin'." His first solo album, 2007’s Welcome to the Zoo, peaked at #18 on the Billboard 200 and #3 on Top Rap Albums Chart. His second solo album, 2009’s Don't Feed Da Animals, featured the single "Lost,” and topped the Billboard Top Rap Albums chart.

There comes a time when you just have to sit down, sit back, scan the hip-hop landscape and ask yourself whether anyone out there is actually more dope than Roach Gigz. When we did that, we came up short. And with each video depiction (generally directed by Aris Jerome) of each highlight (generally produced by C-Loz) from his acclaimed ‘Roachy Balboa’ mixtape, San Francisco and the Bay Area’s most likely to blow to the right of the left coast both reinforces the feeling that in terms of solo artists no one’s topping him and surprises you at how loosely but tightly he does so. And this is just the mixtape material… Read our interview with Roach and download ‘Roachy Balboa’ right here. (‘Goomba Pimpin/Kirplunk’ premiered on The Fader.)
We spent the day (and rode the party bus!) with Roach and up and coming Thizz City artist Pac B in San Francisco last weekend on the shoot for their song ‘Ay Boy Boy’, which you can listen to and download while checking out the behind the scenes photos below. Enjoy!

Many of you have seen the promo we have been doing over the past couple of months for Rideout's 2nd mixtape, Youngest In Charge. Well the wait is over, as we drop the mixtape for free download on the site. Hosted by renowed DJ Simon Sez, YIC plays more like a album, much like the first one as Rideout goes in on industry and exclusive beats. Many of you have heard the lead single, Moves with Noah Jones and seen the video and if you enjoyed that, you are in for a great listening experience with the tape.
With appearances from Lust, Noah, Warchief and others, this will surely go down as one of the better mixtapes of 2010. Below is a tracklisting and video for Moves along with a free download of the tape. Pass the link on to a friend and enjoy.
