Illuminati 2G is here with the Blood Cuzinzs. How's it going?

SHAK' " Every things good" 

REALZ "I’m good an you?"

D: I can’t complain. Tell me about you guys came together as a group and some of your musical influences in the game.

SHAK' "We came together as a natural progression. I mean like you got two cousins who both are involved in music, it's inevitable".

REALZ "As far as for our music influences, I would have to say Kool G. Rap, Big Daddy Kane, Nas and of course Jay-Z".

D: What was your guys first break in the industry?

SHAK' "Our first break was when WE started our own label and put this music out ourselves. We ain't get no break! Nobody wanted to give us a break so, we busting down the doors to get our recognition.

"REALZ " I would have to agree with you cuz."

D: Yeah I can relate to that. I had to do the same with my business. That was some real talk right there. What is the music scene like out in New Jersey?

REALZ " It's alright, it could better, if Jersey sticks to our roots. As for us, Blood Cuzinz, we write pain music from our heart. You feel it!"

D: Ok, so lets get into the new album. The title, guest appearances, beats the whole 9.

SHAK' "Blood Thicker Than Water is the title of our Debut Album."

REALZ " Guest appearances is our in-house producer M.B. of Kut Throat Production and Swing another local artist from Perth Amboy."

SHAK' " We got 9 tracks produced by M.B. for Kut Throat Productions. DJ Absurd blessed us with 3 tracks and we got 2 bangers from FOCUS... courtesy of A. FAM ENT."

REALZ " Also we got the lead single off of the album " U Liven Just Like Me" produced by Sha- Trackz. That song is heating up all across seas right now" 

D: Where can people pick up the album?

SHAK' " We got the website popping off WWW.BLOODCUZINZ.COM. You can get the album there or on any on-line chain you choose Amazon.com, Rhapsody, I-Tunes or Napster. You can also get your local retailers to order the album through Super D One Stop Shop Wholesaler."

D: What are your thoughts on the state of hip hop today? Especially on the east coast.

REALZ "My thoughts on Hip-Hop today, Is that were not where we need to be. There is alot of copycat rap and I'm not feeling it at all. That is the difference that (B.C.) brings to the table.

D: What artists or music are you guys feeling or bumping in the ride?

REALZ "Truthfully I'm listing to alot of our music (Blood Cuzinz) if not I’m listening to the late Stack Bundles (R.I.P), or Young Jeezy.

SHAK' " I got Ransome and Styles P in my cd changer at all times."

D: Any upcoming shows or tours coming up?"

SHAK' "In July we hitting up the state of FLORIDA. We'll be all through the state, so keep your eyes open for B.C."
