What up peoples, D-Marc back with another interview and this time I am conversating with Cynikal 3000 of Forth Worth, Texas. We talk about the rap game, how he came up with his name, Cynikal, and his new album, Loose Cannon. Sit back, relax and enjoy the interview.

D: Tell me how did you get started in the rap game

C: I actually did'nt go straight into rap rite off the bat. my uncle got me started by introducing me to breakdancing, and from there I pretty much fell into all the 4 elements of hip-hop like graffiti, dj'ing, b-boy, and finally emceeing. I was good at all of them except the whole dj thing, haha!, but after a while I started to notice I was getting good at putting words together aand making them ryhme. before I knew it I was in school battling other fellow hip-hoppers.

D: How did you get the name Cynikal 3000?

C: I actually got the name Cynikal for being so pessemistic and very sarcastic. growin up I've just always been that kinda person, but at the same time, I would some how come off kinda cocky at the same time, and the 3000 means the year 3000, as in we are in the 2000's but I'm ahead of my time. Yeah I know, I put alot of thought behind that 1.

D: Yeah that is a cool concept behind the name. Who are your biggest musical influences to your music?

C: I would have to say Eazy E and of course, none other than my favorite artist Busta Rhymes.

D: What is the music scene like out in Fort Worth, TX?

C: Actually there is alot of great talent here in Fort Worth that people don't know about. The hip-hop scene I think is 1 of the biggest here and still growing.

D: You had your new album, Loose Cannon drop recently. Tell me about the new album and the concept behind it.

C: To be honest with you, there was never actually a concept behind it to begin with. being my 1st album I really did'nt know how to go along with it or nothing. I was just making songs, but I started to realize that the tracks I was making were pretty much club bangers, or songs intended for the club and the ladies. I figured since I did whatever the hell I wanted and did'nt hold nothing back on all my tracks I made, I would just call the album Loose Cannon.

D: What is your definition of a MC?

C: To me an MC is a artist who can move a crowd and have whoever it is thats listening to his/her music, feel it word for word.

D: Finish this statement for me. What is missing from the rap game is ______ and ______ is something that can be done to make the rap game better?

C: What is missing from the rap game is alot of originality and heart is something that can be done to make the rap game better.

D: What is bumping music wise in Cynikal's ride or at the crib?

C: Defenitely alot of Isley Brothers, Busta Rhymes and The Diplomats.

D: So is there any tours or shows scheduled for promoting the new album?
