2/6/10: Review: Zombie Music Instrumental Album By Sid Roams By Jehuniko

My daily routine of freestyling to this new CD, "Zombie Musik." Our kids love the CD for all of the wild samples, blended over their earth shaking production and they even request to hear the Zombie Musik. I had already promoted this on my Information Revolution column a while back to let you all know that is was coming. This album is available online at many places, but support them directly at:

What I like about this CD is that you can enjoy it like an audio movie, unlike other instrumental albums out there (which I love & support), this production team made a gang of instrumentals over a variety of samples from movies and who knows what making you feel stoned out while being invading by zombies, ufo’s….

like Orson Wells’ "radio adaptation of H. G. Wells' novel The War of the Worlds which, performed in the style of a news broadcast, caused widespread panic when listeners thought that an actual extraterrestrial invasion was in progress."

Sid Roams is that soundtrack right there but on a psychodelic trip in 2010. Calling upon the OG’s of this hip hop movement and bringing them back to life from the grave and this is their soundtrack. The bass rattles so hard, that you forget there is no MC on the track and the instrumental is so banging capturing all of your attention.

On the Dirt Class Records website they say:

"Indeed, ghouls and gremlins can expect Zombie Musik to drop at the darkest hour featuring a barrage of classic and unheard beats from the masters of horror. The audience can expect the best soundtracks from Product of the 80's and The Layover EP."

Seriously, this CD is my verbal exercise. Writers block, not feeling it, lazy, tired? NOT when you banging Sid Roams beats. See, people are getting more into those slower super banging type tracks, but Sid Roams been crafting that soundtrack style for a while now. Support this project and buy yourself and a friend a copy.
