Illuminati 2G is here with Knoc how's it going fam?

What it do my boy!! It's been a minute my dude.

Yes it has but as always, good to have you back. Since our last interview, you dropped the mixtape, Street Fame. Tell me a little bit about the release and how the fans are responding to it.

Man its crazy! I hooked up with the world famous DJ Smallz and all the responses arr it's dope or it’s a classic mixtape. DJ Smallz really went in on the project with it we made it do what it do!

Let me be one of the many to say congrats on being nominated in the Southern Entertainment Awards and Knocdown Awards. How does it feel to be recognized?

Man it feels good fam. Especially since I was goin thru some personal things and had to step away from the game it’s a wonderful feeling to know that my blood sweat and tears is appreciated.

You have really been non stop hustling and grinding out your music and promoting yourself since I have known you and even before that. Just tell me a little bit about what you have had to go through just to get where you are at today?

Yeah I been doin my thang thang man over the years I learned a lot in this game if I knew then what I know now my road would’ve been a whole lot easier but I love the grind man I love looking adversity in the eye and saying you can not win against me!

That's is real talk. What advice would you give a up and coming artist trying to make it in todays music market?

Don’t get in it if your heart ain't in it and you aint in it to win it. It's not easy as it looks especially with easier access to studio software and things of that nature. It's not as lucrative as it look unless you are giving your all. What you put in this game is what you get out.

Ok, on to new projects. What is up next for Knoc?

I got a new single im bout to release call Fly Like Me for tha ladies and a club banger called "Dranks In The Club" my street album should be available August next year gotta show em how I can soundscan as a indy.

We interviewed your labelmate, singer Mr. Nice last month. Do you guys have any upcoming collabos in the works?

Oh yeah that kid is multi-talented we gonna make a lot of classic records together. He is a workhorse too we love putting in work.

What are your thoughts on the music scene in Alabama as a whole right now?

I'll be honest it sucks but to be honest its improved over tha last year we have been overlooked for too long we bout to shine now it’s the year of the underdog.

Got to ask ya this. Alabama and Auburn are undefeated this year in college football so far, and that rivalry game is gonna have some meaning to it this year. Who ya got?

Roll Tide theres not football like Alabama football.

Do you have any upcoming shows or tour dates coming up?

I'm going to set up my own lil tour when my new singles drop first quarter just been banging out these mixtapes.
