The concert did not start until 1 in the morning but it was worth it. Let me tell you, the west coast got MAD LOVE for the east. The dj before the concert was playing all east coast music, all the classic cuts. Juicy, Survival Of The Fittest, Dead Presidents, the list goes on and on. It was like a mini concert before Nas and people was singing along word for word.

Nas finally came out around 1 and had the fattest gold chain and Jesus piece I had ever seen. He came out of a casket that was wheeled out in front of the dj booth on stage with a tombstone and flowers. Ill shit. It was standing room only and Nas did about 30 songs. He acted like he was going to perform Ether when the instrumental came on and he started rapping it, but he told the DJ "kill that shit" and he performed Black Republicans instead. The crowd went crazy. Every hit you can think of that he has, he did. He even took time out to diss Dipset and G-Unit (just a simple F G-Unit and Dipset) and clown Baby and Wayne for kissing each other.

He performed alot of songs from Hip Hop Is Dead and alot of the classics from Illmatic. Shout out to Styles, he got your request in for The World Is Yours . Overall the fights and the delay in the concert starting along with the crowd put I little damper on the evening early, Nas performing more than made up for it and he showed why in my opinion he should be considered Top 5 DOA when it is all said and done. I took some pics but take into consideration it's from a camera phone and a Nas stan kept jumping into me as I was taking them so it may be a little blurry.
