Illuminati 2G sat down with AllFrumThaI's Squeak Ru for a in-depth interview. In this interview we discuss his new album, Fatworld dropping this year and the pre album to drop before it, the odds of a AllFrumThaI album, memories of working with Westside Connection and much more so sit back and enjoy.

D: First off, let me say I am a big AllFrumThaI fan.Copped all of you guys' albums.

SR: THANX THAT GOOD LOOK'N OUT I'M GLAD TO HERE THAT.
 
D: So what has the group been up to since Larger Than Life?

SR: WELL AFTER THE LAST RECORD I WORKED ON A PROJECT CALLED [REP YO SET] .WHICH HAD 27 NEIGHBORHOODS COME TOGETHER AND DO SORT OF A BANG'N ON WAX COMP' BUT THERE WAS NO DIS'N EACH OTHER'S HOODS IT WAS MORE OF PEACE THING SO EVERY ONE DID LIKE A ANTHEM FOR THERE HOOD. FROM THAT WE STARTED A GROUP CALLED {THE REPUTABLES} WHICH IS MADE UP OF 7 CRIPS & BLOODS AND WE PUT OUT A EP WHICH WAS SELF TITLED.
 
D: That's what's up. Definitely glad to see and hear about any unity out here on the west. I heard you are working on a new solo album called Fatworld? How's it coming along and do you have a release date scheduled?

SR: YEAH I BEEN WORK'N ON FATWORLD FOR A WHILE NOW AND I'M FINALY ABOUT TO RELEASE IT THIS SUMMER.. I JUST RAP'D IT UP ..I HAVE PRE FATWORLD CD THAT BE ON SALE BEFORE THE ALBUM THE PRE ALBUM IS SOME OF THE SONGS THAT DIDN'T MAKE THE RECORD.
 
D: Any details you can give on the project? Potential guests, producers?

SR: WELL I GOT ICE CUBE, MC EIHT, DAMANI, MY BROTHER G-LUV OF THE ROADDAWGS, MS TOI & THE REPUTABLES PRODUCTION BY SOME UP AND COME'N PRODUCERS MY MAN MANSUR, B-NASTY, MR.PAYBACK.. I'M TELL'N YOU RIGHT NOW THE RECORD IS HOT IT IS SOME OF THE BEST WORK I'VE DONE SO FAR.
 
D: Sounds like it. Can't wait. You actually answered part of my next question about Ice Cube. Any collabos in the works with Ice Cube or WC for your solo work? The songs you did with Cube like The Gutter Shit were sick.

SR: WELL THE SONG I GOT WITH CUBE IS CALLED "CALI BOY" AND IT IS A MONSTER IT'S ONE OF THE CLUB JOINTS I THINK IT COULD BE ANOTHER WESTCOAST ANTHEM.

D: Shit, can't wait for that. Man County Jail was one of those timeless classic west coast songs. Banging lyrics, banging beat and a all star lineup of west coast artists that appeared in the video. Tell me a little bit about what you remember most about that video and song.

SR: MAN!! I JUST REMEMBER WHEN WE FINISHED I KNEW WE HAD SOMETHING THAT THE WESTCOAST WAS GOIN TO LOVE BECAUSE I KNEW EVERYONE COULD RELATE TO IT!! THE VIDEO I JUST REMEMBER IT TURN'D INTO A WILD PARTY!!!!!! LOL, LMAO!!!
 
D: What was it like being on Hoo Bangin back in the day and working with Westside Connection back then?

SR: WELL I WAS NEVER ON HOOBANG'N . I WAS ON {ONE O} PRODUCTIONS, BUT I HAD THE BEST TIME IN MY LIFE WORK'N WITH MACK & CUBE AND THE WSCG FAMILY!! I LOVE ALL THOSE GUYS!!! I WISH WE COULD DO IT AGAIN!!!!
 
D: Oh my bad on that. That's right you guys were on that label. Yeah I think the fans would love to see you guys unite again also. Did you guys ever settle your differences with Mack 10?

SR: YEAH I SAW MACK IN NEW YORK A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AND WE CHOPPED IT UP IT WAS GOOD. NO MATTER WHAT I ALWAYS OWE MACK 10 BECAUSE HE'S THE REASON I WAS ABLE TO GET MY FIRST RECORD DEAL! & I'M ALWAYS THANKFUL TO HIM FOR THAT. 

D: Good to hear homie. Man you and Bink's chemistry on songs is dope as fuck. Is there another AllFrumThaI album in the works?

SR: MAYBE IF THE TIME IS RIGHT !!! NEVER SAY NEVER.. I LOVE WORKING WITH BINK!!!

D: What is Binky Mack up to these days?

SR: ALL MAN BINK IS CHILL'N. HE'S BEEN BEHIND THE SCENE ON MY SOLO PROJECT & HE HAS BEEN DOING SOME GOSPEL PROJECTS ALSO.

D: What are your thoughts on the state of west coast rap and what new artists in the game are you feeling at the moment?

SR: I DO FEEL THAT ITS GETTING READY TO TURN AROUND ON THE WEST IT IS A LOT GOOD TALENT OUT HERE WE JUST HAVE TO KEEP GRIND'N AND NOT DEPEND ON THESE MAJOR LABELS TO COME AND SAVE US. AS FAR AS ARTIST I LIKE MY MAN TOPIC OUT OF WEST COVINA, GLASSES MALONE, JAY ROCK, HOT DOLLA, AND I GOT A COUPLE MORE I THINK THAT ARE HOT!!!!
